Commentary
Time for the winning trophy and it's presented to Miraz. Him and his team-mates pose with it, beaming as confetti rains down on them. ODI series win after 11 years against Pakistan and that should make Bangladesh happy. On that note we wind up our coverage of this short series. Both sides will now move on to play whatever is ahead of them. For now that's it from here. See you soon. Bye bye.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz | Bangladesh captain: "Definitely, it was excellent match. And yes, sometimes I also afraid, like, you know, the boys played really well and the last over 14 runs, everybody is afraid there. (on their score) Definitely. I think it was excellent wicket. If we get 300, definitely it would be better. But still we're playing well, especially like Tamim, the way he batted. And definitely, they played really, really well. And then Litton Das and Shanto, and Towhid Hridoy, they played really well in the middle. (on Taskin) Yeah, definitely. I think Taskin bowled really well. The first three overs, he took two wickets. And in the end, he got two wickets. Definitely, the momentum is there. I think whole of the series, I think Taskin, Nahid Rana they bowled really, really well. And they make the partnership. So I'm really, really happy."
Nahid Rana | Translated from Bengali: Yes, of course the simple plan was that when I come to bowl I will try to take wickets. And the plan that the captain had was good. It (pitches) was good for the fast bowlers and also good for the batsmen. Whoever played well, it was good for him. Yes, of course. Before this I practiced a lot. After many days I am bowling again. Day by day I am trying to improve my skills and move forward in practice with hard work. Then execute what I practice in the middle.
Both Nahid Rana and Tanzid Hasan Tamim share the Player of the Series award.
Tanzid Hasan Tamim | Player of the Match: "First of all, we won the series, this is a very important series for us. And when I came to the wicket, then I'm trying to use the first 10 overs and the ball nicely come to the bat. After 20 overs, the ball little bit gripping and when the ball is getting older, then it will be tough for the new batsmen. Then I was trying to make the innings as big as possible. (on his maiden ODI 100) Yeah, this one very special for me. And all the support, the supporters and the team management supported me really well. They always backed me up and always believed on me. That's the main thing. (on his sixes, do you practice them?) Yeah, obviously I'm practicing in our practice session. I'm not trying to hit too hard. I was just want to time the ball. That's the main thing."
Shaheen Shah Afridi | Pakistan captain: "I think that early wicket [wickets] little bit cost us, but I'm really proud of the team. They fight till the end, and I think what we need that for youngster [youngsters] and they fight for till the last ball. (on Agha) Yeah, Salman is always a very good player, Test and ODIs he always [does well] in middle-order. He likes to play the spin and also fast bowler [bowlers]. I think Salman for a long, long time, he played for Pakistan, like a very good innings. So really proud and I think, the youngsters came here for the one-day first time and they played.... I think really, really proud today, like the way they played, really proud. And we will support them. (on his batting) Yeah, I will try, like that's my job. But yeah, Rishad bowled really well. He is a best legspinner. And I think congrats to the Bangladesh team. They played really well. (on the youngsters) Yeah, of course, there was always improvement and we also come here and they play international cricket and you need international cricket a little bit. You know, more hard work and you have to be fit in all three departments. But yeah, they are youngster [youngsters] and they played first international series. So we will back them and they played really good cricket."
22:47 Local Time, 16:47 GMT, 22:17 IST: Bangladesh hold their nerve to seal the series. A cracker of a game this after two one-sided ones before. Taskin set the tone with early wickets and he was the star with the ball. But once again Agha came in and stabilised the innings. He played superbly, according to the situation. Built stands with Samad and then Masood as the chase was kept on track. Shaheen Afridi joined Agha and that stand was key in getting Pakistan close. In the process, Agha got his ton too and Afridi gave him good company. But once again Taskin came back and got the big wicket of Agha and despite Afridi hitting two big sixes in the 49th over, too much to do for the Pakistan skipper in the end and Rishad held his nerve to close it out in the final over. At one stage Pakistan were 82/5 and only because of Agha they got so close to the target. Stay tuned for the post-match stuff...
End of Over 0: N/A runs, N/A wkts
Rishad Hossain to Shaheen Afridi, out Stumped!! Bangladesh win the series 2-1. Shaheen Afridi comes down the track and is not to the pitch of the ball as he heaves and misses, the ball turns past the inside-edge and Litton has lots of time to make the stumping despite not a clean collection. Shaheen gave up and Litton breaks the stumps. Shaheen Afridi stumped Litton Das b Rishad Hossain 37(38) [4s-2 6s-2]
Rishad Hossain to Shaheen Afridi, THATS OUT!! Stumped!!
Rishad Hossain to Shaheen Afridi, no run, Rishad Hossain and Litton think Shaheen Afridi got bat on that. But Kumar Dharmasena signals a wide. Now Afridi has a chat with Dharmasena. Have they gone upstairs to check this? Don't think you can refer wides here. Have Bangladesh taken the review? For what? But it's a great review as UltraEdge shows a clear spike when ball is next to bat. So Dharmasena has to reverse his decision of wide. It's full and down leg, loopy, Afridi shimmies outside the leg-stump first, then gets back in line, gets forward to heave and there's a tiny bit of bat found (the toe-end) as he takes it on the full. Litton stops it and credit must be given to him for taking the review. Afridi isn't too happy but he can't do anything about it. Bangladesh had every right to take the review and it proves the bat when ball is next to it. A legal delivery next will win it for Bangladesh
12 off 2.
Rishad Hossain to Shaheen Afridi, no run, the googly and turns away from outside off, Shaheen Afridi slogsweeps and misses, crucial dot
Rishad Hossain to Shaheen Afridi, 2 runs, tossed up full on off, Shaheen Afridi backs away and lofts wide of long-on, easy two. No timing on that
Rishad Hossain to Shaheen Afridi, no run, Rishad Hossain goes back and doesn't even get a hand on it. Should've taken that. It's tossed up on a good length on off, was the googly and it turns away, Shaheen Afridi goes for a slogsweep and the thick top-edge goes straight up, Rishad misjudges it as he goes back, stretches his arms forward but the ball lands just in front of those. Needed a dive forward from Rishad there. They don't run. Shaheen wants a change of bat
Rishad Hossain to Shaheen Afridi, no run, pitches outside the leg-stump, turns across Shaheen Afridi, from leg to off, a back foot block
14 off the last over. Rishad to bowl. Shaheen Afridi will be on strike. Also Mustafizur Rahman walks off the field.

Mustafizur Rahman to Haris Rauf, out Caught by Mehidy Hasan Miraz!! Straight to long-on. Mustafizur Rahman limps as Miraz runs to celebrate. A slower-ball off-cutter and just outside off, Haris Rauf gets forward to slog and doesn't time it, straight up and Miraz makes no mistake at long-on. Was there in the slot but maybe just dipped at the last moment on Rauf. Haris Rauf c Mehidy Hasan Miraz b Mustafizur Rahman 1(2),
